Propaganda Map

Propaganda Maps can be seen as true or false maps, but are mostly false. Many Propaganda maps are designed to influence a certain target audiences opinions or beliefs.  Looking at this propaganda map of the great war, you can see that this cartographer used his/her opinions on the war to separate each country.  A lot of these types of maps use symbols and icons to get their image across to their particular audience.
